This app barely works anymore 3 different fire devices now

Wait so did you drop smart yt tv? Why? They seem to be solving the same problem.

Great news @yuliskov I'll surely test it as soon as new releases start to flow in. Is there any doc on what the differences are/will be between both projects?

What state is this new project in , is it working?

It is working and it looks good but it's in its infancy in terms of customization. There isn't even a settings page. I hope the dev can at least keep smartyoutubetv in a working condition until that one is mature enough. Don't abandon smartyoutubetv @yuliskov !

Does this mean you're not maintaining this app? There are currently some serious bugs and no watch history on Pro 😭

Your new project looks like a complete departure. I love SmartYouTubeTV because it's exactly like the official app except without ads and has great extra features like playback speed.

I really hope you can maintain it, even if for just bug fixes. Thanks!

I'm on fire tv, History is broken on PRO which is a shame, And navigation doesn't seem to function in LITE. I'll take no functioning history over no navigation but I'd really rather have both working.

Hi, I love SmartYoutubeTV, and last week I downloaded the new SmartTubeNext app, however I must say, the AutoPlay Thumbnail Previews are quite distracting while browsing the video selection in this new app (SmartTubeNext), unfortunately. Is there any way to disable this by any chance? Please advise.

First, thanks Yuriy; but I think is too early to abandon the original SmartYouTubeTV proyect, I recently try the new SmartYouTubeTV Next and lacks on features, I have to admit is a fast interface but does not offer the power to control or choose user lists, customization or even the watch later tab. I dont know the reason to split the app into a new proyect but the old one just need a bit of work to fix the problems for now.

I agree. At the very least please maintain it smartyoutubetv until there's feature parity or close to it.

As a counterpoint, I would rather see most dev effort go into the new app. I tried a build last night and I found it most impressive.

Sure there are things I miss (The ability to sub/unsub from a channel page, the ability to turn off autoplay of next video, things like that), but it's a work in progress.

It's so nice and so far along I wish we'd get the same app for Twitch!

You can disable autoplay by untoggling the repeat icon
