This has been a great application that I have been using on 3 different Amazon FireTV 4K devices for quite a while, but the latest couple of releases seem to have a bug.
For no reason I can find, the video will simply stop playing. I have tried increasing the buffer to medium or large without any noticeable difference in performance.
It behaves like someone simply pushed the pause button while the video was playing. To continue, simply pushing the play or select button on the fire tv 4k remote continues streaming. When this happens, the buffer line appears to be well past the the point the video stopped.
This is very odd behaviour and only recently started happening with the last couple of updates including the current one numbered 6.17.728
Perhaps someone can look into this as it happens on all of my devices as well as my friends devices on different networks. Other streaming applications on all other TV's continue to stream without error using different applications such as Netflix, core Youtube Applications, etc.
This happens whether it is the ONLY DEVICE running on my home internet, or if I have 5 devices all streaming at once, no difference. It just randomly stops for no reason. I try to play all streams at 720p/30 frames per second if that matters.
