Pushing upstream: inclusion into official Qt Repo?? #107

I believe this qextserialport to be extremely valuable for many.

Problem: people need to know and find it. It would nicer to have it within the 
standard Qt SDK. It definitely fits: you'll find things for networking, for 
video playback (phonon), sensor api (qtmobility), ... a serial interface, with 
all the peripherals that would benefit (legacy serial, usb&bluetooth that 
appear as a serial port), would be a great - and legitimate - addition.

Does that reflect a common need? If so, does somebody have any experience on 
how this might be achieved?
