Ribbit frog villagers dying/disappearing/taking random damage for no reason.

I created a modpack for a server for me and my friends. There are 148 mods, and Ribbits is one of them. A couple of my friends decided to live in the frog village because they found it cute, but the frogs either keep de-spawning or randomly dying. The original villagers died out of no where and took random damage. They surrounded the village with fences and torches to keep mobs out, but they still took damage and died. We ended up using spawn eggs to re-spawn 7 frog villagers, but after 4 hours, two are dead and the others are randomly loosing health. The frogs that were spawned in were given name-tags to prevent de-spawning, and amethyst crystals, but they still disappeared/died. My friend sat there for 15 minutes just watching the frogs and they were randomly losing 3-4 hearts right in front of him. He thinks that because they are one block tall that they might be suffocating, but he hasn't watched any of them do that. I have attached his log, but I am unsure what/if you'll find anything.

Is there a way to increase their health? Are there ways to stop them from disappearing? Can they reproduce? Any ideas that could help keep their village populated would be appreciated. latest.log

This is months on, but I want to say I also have this problem. After enough time passes, the Ribbits are just gone. I'm even playing on peaceful.
