Fatal crash #1

The issue occurs every time I try to log into Gtalk. I'll input all the 
proper information in the options... and then click the button to 
connect... and then it either freezes before ever showing me the buddy 
list... or it shows an incomplete buddy list and then freezes. Every time 
it's done this I've had to do a hard restart on my iPod. Sometimes I can 
get it to exit the app... but it causes the home-screen with all my icons 
to be inaccessable (they're dimmed out... kindof like when you double tap 
the home button to bring up the music controls).

i have a similar issue.  I log in with no problem, the buddy list shows up but 
the buttons next to the names are 
not green, even if they're online.  After a couple of minutes the entire app 
just freezes, it won't allow me to do 
anything.  The only way I can get out of the app is to hold down the home 
button to do a hard app shutdown.

Okay, I can reproduce this one too.

gene.hsu, are you using GTalk or some other jabber server?

Are you using SSL connection to server? Please try connecting without SSL, if 
possible.

SSL is disabled.
Looks like it hangs up when transports begin connecting to icq and other 
agents, 
when they start to load contact infos whos online...
P.S. Using EDGE to connect. (Cant test it on wifi yet)

Yes. I do.
Yesterday i`ve been testing iChabber via WiFi and it works perfect... So the 
problem 
is somewhere in EDGE/GPRS slow connect...
