Signup Flow #11

Fields Requirement for site sign up (any thoughts on using social media sign up?).

First Name Last Name Email Pasword

Once user is signed up and confirmed via email we redirect to the "profile page" and ask for phone number. We as for preferences to be selected (SMS,Email, Voice call etc). At this point phone_number is required to save account at that point.

We can use Facebook, Twitter, Google, OpenID.... Or even all together!

Lets just choose some.

Also, are you going with OmniAuth Identity? Help me understand how you are looking to implement this.

We need to have the option of signin/up via email/password as well. A few IT departments prefer not to have their teachers using personal email/accounts. Twitter is the most popular social network with teachers and OpenID is almost unheard among most K-12 educators (at the same time Sparkroad might be used in business&healthcare).

Here is my gut reaction for singup/in options Email,Password Facebook Twitter Google

Can you expand on what you mean by "needing some views to start working on"? I am not sure if you are talking about Rails views (API view, hum?) or somehow you need the Angular side to help you understand how to proceed. I am a little confused here.

Actually I'm building things without knowing where they are going to be used, so I might overcraft something.

Having some views, will probably guide me on how to build APIs or even workflow.

I won't be able to get to it this week. up to sunday is a mad dash for my Florida client, so I'll have to focus there.

I have been reading documentation, but I don't expect to have anything to show til next week sometime.

I talked to Ryan and we talked about how he works better with more strict detailed deadlines. I need someone that can work more independently and OWN the project at this point. He is not a good fit for the Company at the moment. I removed him as collaborator from this project but will leave him on the angular repo on a pro-bono bases.

He requested that. So basically he will receive no compensation but he wants to help for free. He is just a friend observer at this point. He a friend too so I am ok with him committing to the Angular project for now and possibly sharing some info about the company with him.
