does not stay resident, turn off #558

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Keep loading it. Make sure its on wifi
2.works while forced, bit stops working when reconnected to wifi no 
notifications on pc
3. After using the phone after a day i reconnect to wifi at home, no 
notifications. Icon not in status bar

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
