Please do, this would be great!
I assume that you are going to use English documentation for that - go ahead, it is correct to a large degree. However if you are going to create a tutorial for engines start-up than there's one discrepancy: some docs suggest to start engines right after you have started APU, and that hydraulic systems will be pumped later by running engines. However many examples (like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln9E8bQr2hg) suggest that you pump hydraulic systems with electrical pumps before you start main engines (this way you also check electric pumps, and engine start-up is delayed as much as possible to avoid unnecessary fuel consumption and noise) - let's do it this way.
Feel free to ask any further questions about procedures here.
Welcome! :)
Thanks. Yes, I do it that way already based on that video. I'll use the PT docs as the primary source, because they are in English, and ask for help reviewing it from your knowledge of the Russian documentation.
Expect some initial pull requests next week sometime.
Great!
I would like to volunteer to create interactive checklists for the TU154B.
You probably already know that checklists can have tutorial markers, bindings for each step and conditions to check the success of each step. I think these would be beneficial to the TU154B.
Interactive checklists drive the tutorial system and it is also possible to drive autostart behaviour from checklists as a single source, which simplifies maintenance.
I implemented complete interactive checklists for the Lockheed Constellation 1049h and wrote the automatic checklist script. I would like to do the same for the Tu154B if you are agreeable?
