Having the same issue, the whole EMI (JEI analog) GUI is raised, and it as well kinda breaks the hotbar image

Once again, you will have to provide more information. I already run EMI for testing another mod in every version it exists for and I have not come across this conflict for anything 1.16 to present. Being that case, it is likely another mod conflicting. But you will have to provide information to have any sort of resolution.
