Can you prepot after precasting a spell? #51

Because spells have travel time, can you prepot after you cast your spell in order to maximize the amount of time your prepot is effective in combat?

As soon as the spell leaves your hand, you are in combat. Prepotting will need to be done before you cast your first spell.
