All

In what version of SVG-edit does the problem occur? (Latest trunk, 2.5.1,
etc)

Please provide any additional information below.

Are we suppose to configure it after downloading or should it just work?

Hm, it's possible that we are missing something in the download? The download
should be everything needed to run the software, but I haven't used the
download in a long time.

Frankly, I think it's easier to check out the repository rather than the
download. That way you are ensured to have every file needed. See

Thank you for your comment. So just compare that repository to the download to
ensure I have every file? I thought it was odd too.

I wish there was a away to download the whole trunk build. It has a lot of
files the 2.5.1 doesn't which might explain why it functions? The 2.5.1
repository has files the download doesn't as well. Maybe its downloading it in
Chrome is the problem?

Nope that didn't fix it :(

I just downloaded version 2.5.1 and found that this problem still exists - with
the added problem that even the eyedropper button is missing, now. This is true
in chrome and firefox.

I should have included the version information, above: Firefox 22 and Chrome
28.0.1500.63 (Official Build 208724).

I can confirm that this issue is resolved in svg-edit 2.6 in Firefox and Chrome.
