Implemented this superficially in feat/sound but with the host platform dependence restrictions described in 6aa84eff7.

Trying this on a Linux host, the pulseaudio server isn't running.

gqrx as well as pactl stat fail with connection refused.

I haven't looked at pulseaudio at all - Just ALSA for GNU Radio. I'm not sure the Audio Sink in GNU Radio, for example, is set up to use PA. Will investigate.
