Typing is slow #3

There seems to be a roughly 0.5 seconds delay when typing.

This could potentially be geographical latency, but it seems much slower than ssh to a linux server on the US west coast (where I assume the demo is running).

This was a bunch of timeout tweaking I did, and everything is good now.
