Hi,

I'd like to use some weights hosted here in another project, but I am not sure if that is OK since this repository does not have a license -- if possible, could you add a license like Apache 2.0 or MIT to this repository?

Hi. Thank you pointing this out. At the moment, wee are discussing on this issue internally.

Hey @yuyu2172 , any updates on this? I'd like to get an SSD / pre-trained model Jupyter notebook example into SageMaker soon if possible.

The license doesn't necessarily have to be applied to this repo -- I'd just need assurance that the weights ChainerCV uses for pretrained models can be redistributed, wherever ChainerCV gets them from.

Hello. The license term is being finalized. The updated license term would be included in ChainerCV's documentation.
