Sound causing crash #280

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

After a random amount of time, sometimes less than one minute, the screen will
freeze and the sound loops. The game must then be closed through Task Manager.
Using the -nosound flag prevents the game from crashing.

I've tried moving KeeperFX to C: and changing file permissions to Everyone Full
Control. Fresh installations tend to last longer.

Windows 7 64-bit
On-board sound card Realtek ALC888 (Microsoft 6.1.7601.17514)

Version: 04.4.976 / 0.4.4.1059 / 0.4.4.1093 / 0.4.4.1108

I think your sound card drivers are the problem - try updating them.

It is very unlikely that the problem is within KeeperFX.

Noone else reported such issue - this must be sound driver problem.

Same problem, tried the usual driver removal and reinstall. Seems like a
keeperFX issue.
