Space key does not work inside the game in Xubuntu

OpenSpades versions: 0.0.12b, 0.1.0 Operating System: GNU/Linux Xubuntu 16.10

Information:

• If I set the "Jump" action to any other key, it works just fine.
• Pressing Space key inside the settings GUI works.
• Pressing Space key in-game doesn't work (no action at all)
• I have multiple keyboard layouts installed.
• When OpenSpades is launched with keyboard layout English (US), space key works fine in-game
• When OpenSpades is launched with keyboard layout Portuguese (BR), space key won't work in-game
• Changing the keyboard layout in-game doesn't affect this bug
  • This bug is only affect by the keyboard layout selected during OpenSpades launch
• I'm not sure if the Startup Window affects this bug, but I guess it doesn't
• OpenSpades window keyboard layout is always set to English (US) when launched

I'd happily compile a modified version with specialized debug output if someone gives me the code.
