Render High-Quality Image in VMD. VMD Image-making tutorial

  1. Change background image to white. Graphic->Colors->Display->Background->8 White
  2. Get rid of axes. Display -> Axes -> Off
  3. Change Some Dispay property. Graphic -> Represatations -> Material -> AOChalky; Draw Method -> VDW
  4. Add some effect. Display -> Display Settings...-> Shadows: On; Amb: On
  5. Render to tga file. File-> Render-> Using Tachyon(Internal ...)
  6. Save VMD file. File -> Save Visualization State
  7. Use Incscape convert. File Open -> Select .tga file File->Save as -> Select .eps
