Playback Speed Enhancement Suggestions #139

CPod version: 1.27.1 (Linux AppImage)

Description: I think CPod is great so far, the UX could use some improvements but overall it is a very solid app so thank you very much for making this!

I listen to podcasts at absurd speeds most of the time, on average around 2.3x. I very much appreciate the fact that CPod has playback speed control but here are some ideas to improve it.

  1. Playback Speed per podcast rather than global - because I can listen to some podcasts much faster than others.
  2. Shortcuts to control Playback Speed
    • "-" to decrease speed
    • "=" to increase speed
    • "0" to reset playback speed to 1x
  3. When using the shortcuts to display a notification at the top right indicating it is being changed and what it is being changed to. This doesn't have to be for the normal access, a notification popup thing in the app would work just fine.

Hi, glad you're enjoying CPod. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll work on implementing them.

As an aside, setting keyboard shortcuts to increase or decrease playback speed is already possible in Settings.
