Playing Skyrim SE, I have the latest version of zEdit, I have zEdit routed to Skyrim's launch folder.
I can click the "Start Session" button, and then it shows me my load order. If I select ANY MOD at all, selecting "Ok" at this point will result in nothing happening.
The window rill remain the same, nothing will change, nothing freezes, it simply acts as though the button does not function at all.
However, if I select NO MODS at all, then clicking "Ok" loads the session.
Further testing allows me to also load "Skyrim.esm", "Update.esm", "Dawnguard.esm", "HearthFires.esm", and "Dragonborn.esm". If I select anything else, it will not load the files.
