Feature description

Dear z-huang,

I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to request your expertise in designing a user interface for a Wear OS watch with a small aspect ratio screen. The design should prominently feature volume control buttons for ease of use.

Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to seeing your designs.

Warm regards!

Why do you want this feature?

To address this challenge effectively, I suggest implementing a streamlined interface that prioritizes essential information and functionality. For volume control, I envision integrating discreet yet easily accessible buttons or sliders positioned conveniently on the interface. Additionally, optimizing the layout for readability and intuitive navigation will be key to ensuring a seamless user experience on the compact screen.

The volume bar needs to be placed vertically and have options to disable certain icons in the player or somehow make the icons compatible with small screen sizes.

Yall did you forget this? I think instead of trying to make the phone app compatible with watch, you should try to create a new Wear OS app imo. It doesn't need to have all the features, just the basic features of the yt music for watch app, but completely free and premium features included. We'd love to see that!

I would be very pleased if you introduced that app to me. Where can I download it?

🤔 I meant that you can create a new innertune app for wear os instead of trying to optimize the mobile version. Moreover, I suggested that it does not need to have all the mobile versions features. Just the basic features of a watch music player like Spotify or YT music would be enough.
