How do you archive Groups, Teams, Events year over year?

1. Login
2. Create a team
3. A year goes by
4. A new team is created
5. How does the initial team get archived so I can still reference it but it does not show up as an active team?
6. I am thinking about the BSSC workflow of having new team names and members every year.

In most cases most Sportivities have a life span of a season? Its important to see only active teams.

I currently see no way to do this but I could be missing something.
