After installation I run optirun glxgears -info and have:

mcmax@bernard:/opt/debumblebee$ optirun glxgears -info sudo: /etc/sudoers.d/debumblebee is mode 0644, should be 0440 Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":8". Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual

I'm using Debian Wheezy x64.

Fix file permissions and check again. If it fails, than provide /var/log/Xorg.8.log.

McMax commented 13 years ago

Changing file permissions doesn't solve the problem.

Xorg.8.log is under http://pastebin.com/swW8h5tT

You somehow fucked up your installation. [ 7212.236] (EE) Failed to load /usr/local/lib/debumblebee/libglx.so: /usr/local/lib/debumblebee/libglx.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory No idea how to fix it.

Yeah, my fault. I tried to download each package from Debian Packages site because haven't any of them on the list of packets. There was a problem with various versions of those packages. Then I realized that hadn't had contrib and non-free repositories in my /etc/apt/sources.list.

I put them in the file, updated apt-get and run installation script again.

And now everything works fine.

If you want from me to read every file apart from INSTALL and README, then no.
