I spent a few hours today trying to get helm to compile; finally Haskellfant over in #haskell hooked me up with a stack.yaml. Figured it might be worth sharing.

I was unable to compile myself any more so thanks for this. I have no idea what the hell is going on that is causing the cairo/pango builds to fail. I will use stack from now on. I have merged this but re-worded your commit to conform to the commit message style.
