Installed WSL2 (Windows Subsystem Linux) on my Windows 10 2004 machine.
Installed Ubuntu on WSL
WSL machines have their own file directory structure. If you want to access files from Windows, $cd /mnt/c will take you to your Windows C drive.

Tested successfully. Tests done with Windows 10 2004 with WSL2 installed.
