It would actually be very useful to have an opportunity to start gource paused.
The ppi/ffmpeg-encoding is very slow ad can take hours to encode full-hd.
I'm using Open Broadcaster Software to capture the screen and record it, which
is "realtime" and still pretty slow, but better than waiting hours. In addition
to that, OBS allows me be more flexible with live-commentary or other elements
being displayed directly in the recorded scene.
But when I launch gource, either windowed or fullscreen, it immediately starts.
OBS takes a moment to capture gource initially. But for live-presentations it
would be helpful as well. So gource could be launched, a black window/screen
appears and when someone unpauses it, it starts.
I didn't find any config-option to do that. Negative start-position didn't work
either (desperate try though :D)
Fantastic tool, thanks for your effort!
Regards,
Felix
