Probably a duplicate of issue 164, but I can't be sure from the output. Phil?

This is odd. There is only 1 error message, and its placement is a bit odd.

You are not the first Gentoo user to not be able to do this. We should setup a
Gentoo
environment in VM to find out why Gentoo users cannot use Galaxium.

I'm writting ebuilds for this package and some of its dependencies and having
the
same issue. Tested several configurations and, by example, neither using gecko
nor
webkit, got successfull results... The only dependency i've not installed is
#ziplib,
dont know if it can affect the package. I'm attaching the ebuilds I wrote if
you want
to give it a try...

#ziplib is used to extract adium themes, but they need either webkit or gecko
too.

Tested SVN version in revision 1016 and having the same issue.

I don't know how to build #ziplib on mi box, all I can found in the source
package
are *.bat files, but no scripts for linux. Are webkit and gecko exclusives? can
it be
activated at the same time?

Attached a LiveSVN ebuild.

Both webkit and gecko can be compiled and installed at once, Galaxium will
attempt to
use webkit first as it renders the most themes correctly (and is much lighter),
and
if that fails it will attempt to use gecko.

Something in particular that I must have in count for the GUI's problem? I've
submited the ebuilds to the gentoo's bugzilla hoping to found some help there...
