many times appear messages like below. too many times. they would even take
20 pages when printed. that's from one chat tab. imagine my log if I use
three tabs at one time.

Those are debugging messages for when a user is typing/not typing.

Either we show the XML output, or we dont. We dont choose between individual
messages.

If there are messages NOT being logged however, this we have to look into. Ben?

first I thought problem with not sent messages is related to multiple lines in
messages, but I sent message with only one line and it was not received my
bot...

If a message is not sent/received, it is not because of Galaxium. If you log
your
conversation it will be more obvious what is going on. You should log from the
time
right before you open the chat, to after you have received the notice that the
message has not been sent in time.

MSN servers sometimes DO have issues, and you can sometimes see users not
actually
JOIN a conversation. Or seomtimes the chat is denied entirely.

If you are trying to chat at the start of login, and you have MANY MANY display
images to yet download (clean, first time list with many contacts into
galaxium) it
may be problematic creating a chat and chatting right now. We are working on
that
part. But there is no indication here that this is what is happening.

We need more details on this. We all use galaxium everyday, and we never have
problems sending/receiving messages unless MSN is having problems.

Are you telling me that there is no output in the logs of any kind after
pressing
ENTER in the chat window.

Is Galaxium frozen? lol

Original comment by dra...@gmail.com on 11 Jul 2008 at 2:51

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Galaxium is responsible, but my friend doesn't receive a message and the message
doesn't even appear in log. that's all I can say. no hidden details or more
activity.

ok. now the issue turned into another.

I write message - it appears now in log, but my contact receives the message
only
when I close chat message. tested with infobot, which always quickly replies to
the
messages.

strange issue. weeks ago xmpp worked very well for me.

Ok, I am going to check into this. I'll need to have someone on my list of
contacts.
I also have MSN transport setup too and it seemed to work fine.
