did you tried galaxium from svn? maybe that issue doesn't appear in svn (it may
be
fixed already).

I tried both versions: 0.7.3.1 and the latest SVN but the issue is still there.
I
also tried uninstalling and installing galaxium again but nothing happens.
Today, I
realised that the same issue persists even if I do not use adium themes.

Could you try setting MSN plus support to hide or ignore in preferences?
I'm not sure why it would cause strikethrough on everything but it's the only
possible source of this I can think of.

thats odd we haven't noticed until now
perhaps what we should do is ask our friend here for the user's real MSN Plus
text
string so we can find out why its being parsed with a strikethrough?

I think the most likely cause for this is one contact who has badly written
messenger
plus syntax in their name/message (likely they didn't close a strikethrough
tag).
Whilst their name or message will still be affected unless they fix their markup
(there's no way around that, and I guess they intend for their whole name or
message
to be stricken through), r1122 should stop it from affecting any other contacts.
