Updated packages for distros #346

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

The problem is very simple... The packages for ubuntu are not updated with
the SVN branch :S.
And i try to compile the source in ubuntu Intrepid and i cant, dependences
problems, my idea is to make an updated repository and a list of the
dependences to install it... If i can install from the source i can learn
to make DEB packages for ubuntu!

Cheers

Using launchpad PPA could be a great idea to do it.

Well, you can always learn and help us with that, right? :) It may seem like a
trivial task, but there are currently only 2 (!) people working on this project
regularly. I have final exams coming which leaves very little for Galaxium
lately,
and Draekz is working on more important things. So I think that answers your
question... :)

Once 0.8 is done, we will definitely update all packages. Things have been slow
and
we only can do so much. We are only 2 people actively working right now, 2 are
in school.

Since its not really an issue with the software i'm going to close this.
