Converstaion windows should start scrolled to the bottom #392

Title says it all, when a conversation window is opened (with logging 
enabled) the box should be scrolled to the bottom so you don't have to 
scroll it down yourself everytime you open a window.

I have never seen this behavior before. Mine is always at the bottom. there is 
code
in place to make sure this is always scrolled.

is this XFCE specific?

No, it's not XFCE specific, i'm using gnome now. Try opening some tabs and see 
what 
happens

I've just opened 5 tabs, many of them had pages of history, all of them show up
initially scrolled all the way to the bottom...

hmm, when i open a single conversation window it starts scrolled down but when 
i open 
one or more tabs the rest are not scrolled down, this is weird.
