DCC Upgrade #119

I'm in the process of rewriting the DCC code. I'm also considering adding 
features like passive dcc. However I'm breaking almost the entire dcc public 
API. 

Any thoughts on waiting till 2.0 to do this? The major version bump shows that 
there is going to be breaking changes, and it gives people an incentive to 
upgrade
