This is a really interesting project. There are a few files that I'd love to print onto metal for a time capsule.

Is it possible to use something like a High Capacity Color Barcode, which basically uses color to fit 4 bits instead of 1, to fit more data onto the page?

Probably! That would be a completely different project, though.
