MusicBrainz Youtube Link Canonicalizer doesn't work with Youtube redirecting apps #19

Hi,

I tried using the youtube link canonicalizer but it gives me the following output. It shows the link like so: https://www.youtube.com/m and it puts this message in the edit note: https://www.youtube.com/@examplehttps://consent.youtube.com/m

This seems to be happening because I use the addon LibRedirect: https://libredirect.github.io/ When I turn off the redirecting for Youtube, then the link canonicalizer works as intended.

So my question is, is it possible to have LibRedirect on and still be able to use the cannonicalizer, or are these 2 just simply incompatible? Perhaps a stupid question, I'm not at all tech savvy so it wouldn't surprise me...

Hmm, I can't seem to reproduce this behavior after installing libredirect myself. Can you confirm you're using the latest version of the userscript (2024.7.22) and let me know which browser and userscript manager you use?

It looks like you can exclude certain sites from redirecting in the LibRedirect General settings, that might also be worth a try.
