Compatible with Remote FS Extension? #58

Has anyone tried Local History with Remote FS? I'm not having any luck getting it to save a history. It would be great if it could save a local history when you mount a workspace folder with Remote FS.

Error with copyFile: 'Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/test.php' /test.php => /Users/buddy/Documents/jobs/vsCodeHistoryFiles/.history/test_20181118191857.php

This also happens with the Remote Workspace extension.

Any news on this? Would love history functionality on remote files, too.

I'm guessing this is why the extension didn't work on WSL 2. Since that's merged now, is this actionable?

it's been hours I cant make this plugin working with "ssh remotes" . How can it be so difficult to save a file locally, regardless of the path/protocol of the file itself ? I'm on ubuntu 22
