Timeout from ATZ command #48

Hi! I have multiple modems connected to a single computer and some of them have timeout issues. What I don't understand is, it's the same code as other modems and when I use another software like SMSCaster or Diafaan, I have no timeout. With Diafaan I can see the options and it's the same baud rate as all other modems that I have.

I've tried to put a timeout of more than 3 minutes, still does timeout I've tried all baud rates

It seems the modem I was using is broken

Hello @kfunk1 are you sure your modem is broken?

I'm not really sure, but I've tried multiple sim cards into that modem, and they all didn't work even tho they worked in other modems...

After trying multiple sim card that I know works, into the modem, and the modem still doesn't work. I just assume it's a defect... unfortunately.

@kfunk1 I have the same issue and the modem works well with smsdeliverer.com or diafaan.

I think we miss some options
