Somewhat unrelated, but would it be possible/easier to allow browsing to specific core files, rather than creating launch commands for every single one?
That would also allow people to choose cores that may not be included in IAGL yet, if that situation ever occurred.
Suggestion for Retropie setup wizard - prompt user if they want to update the download folders for all systems
Add selection for retropie rom folder and downloading for each sub folder
Add mame 2016
@ITV4Free This isn't the right issue for that.

I have made a gist which should be enough to get the EmuELEC addon to work. There are two different versions of EmuELEC. The "default" one supports S905/S912 while the one with the -ng postfix supports S922x/s905x2/A311D. The only thing to note with the addon is that one has to start retroarch once via the addon since it creates some symlinks and other stuff on first run. After that everything should work with IAGL.
Thanks @Rensvind . I'll work on it.
This is an open issue for any suggested changes to the default core associations for external launching. Here is a table detailing the current default cores. You can reply to this issue with a change request. No guarantees it will be changed.
