Vanilla or Zepto Version #28

We've had very good times using bigtext.js in our mobile project however, near the final release, we found that we was loading jquery just to use bigtext.js; so a vanilla or zepto version will be a great addition for mobile developers. We're not able to fully translate it on our own but with some help it does not seem such an hard problem to solve. Any suggestion?
