it would be cool if I could send someone a URL with some params that would mute things open paste of the link

It could look in the params for the divs, try with jQuery or Zepto first to see if those work. If they don't, just default back to the good old FindElementById and remove it.

Why would I want to do this? Good question.

I don't really know. Send someone to ESPN without the distraction of the other stories? Tumblr without porn?
