This is the one where sometime, we just can't seem to create an instance of the extension object, for no good reason, yea?

The one that's mysteriously fixed by deploying x86 then deploying x64?

Yea we gotta figure this one out

There's three different machines where some combination of the extensions and/or the host are

I dunno if that's the sole source of our deployment woes, but that would be a big one. I also have no idea why my laptop build is fine with this.


I think I can whip up a powershell script to check for that winmd easily enough. But we should make sure that it's always getting copied. I'd be curious to find out why it works on some machines and not others.

Idly: I wonder if all the fresh clones after the move to PowerToys.sln will hit this...
