Within Command Palette settings, a user can see a list of commands within an extension and assign aliases to each command. An alias can include special and non-special characters, but not both at the same time.
If a special character is used, the "activation key" is not needed, and the command associated with the special character can activate and populate the resulting query (ex. '=' for calculator)
Scenario when this would be used?
User wants to assign a custom alias to a command they use frequently.
