CVE-2022-1471 ### Vulnerable Library - snakeyaml-1.33.jar

YAML 1.1 parser and emitter for Java

Path to dependency file: /pom.xml

Path to vulnerable library: /home/wss-scanner/.m2/repository/org/yaml/snakeyaml/1.33/snakeyaml-1.33.jar

Dependency Hierarchy: - zahori-framework-0.2.10.jar (Root Library) - :x: **snakeyaml-1.33.jar** (Vulnerable Library)

Found in HEAD commit: c52df689a41e247da8a674a638c5da36df12230b

Found in base branch: master

### Vulnerability Details

SnakeYaml's Constructor() class does not restrict types which can be instantiated during deserialization. Deserializing yaml content provided by an attacker can lead to remote code execution. We recommend using SnakeYaml's SafeConsturctor when parsing untrusted content to restrict deserialization. We recommend upgrading to version 2.0 and beyond.

CVE-2019-17570 ### Vulnerable Library - xmlrpc-common-3.1.3.jar

Apache XML-RPC is a Java implementation of XML-RPC, a popular protocol that uses XML over HTTP to implement remote procedure calls. Compared to SOAP, or JAX-RPC, it is stable, much simpler and easier to handle. Version 3 of Apache XML-RPC introduces several important vendor extensions over the original XML-RPC specification.

### Vulnerability Details

An untrusted deserialization was found in the org.apache.xmlrpc.parser.XmlRpcResponseParser:addResult method of Apache XML-RPC (aka ws-xmlrpc) library. A malicious XML-RPC server could target a XML-RPC client causing it to execute arbitrary code. Apache XML-RPC is no longer maintained and this issue will not be fixed.

Found in base branch: master

### Vulnerability Details

In Spring Boot versions 3.0.0 - 3.0.6, 2.7.0 - 2.7.11, 2.6.0 - 2.6.14, 2.5.0 - 2.5.14 and older unsupported versions, there is potential for a denial-of-service (DoS) attack if Spring MVC is used together with a reverse proxy cache. Specifically, an application is vulnerable if all of the conditions are true: The application has Spring MVC auto-configuration enabled. This is the case by default if Spring MVC is on the classpath. The application makes use of Spring Boot's welcome page support, either static or templated. Your application is deployed behind a proxy which caches 404 responses. Your application is NOT vulnerable if any of the following are true: Spring MVC auto-configuration is disabled. This is true if WebMvcAutoConfiguration is explicitly excluded, if Spring MVC is not on the classpath, or if spring.main.web-application-type is set to a value other than SERVLET. The application does not use Spring Boot's welcome page support. You do not have a proxy which caches 404 responses.

### Vulnerability Details

In Legion of the Bouncy Castle BC before 1.61 and BC-FJA before 1.0.1.2, attackers can obtain sensitive information about a private exponent because of Observable Differences in Behavior to Error Inputs. This occurs in org.bouncycastle.crypto.encodings.OAEPEncoding. Sending invalid ciphertext that decrypts to a short payload in the OAEP Decoder could result in the throwing of an early exception, potentially leaking some information about the private exponent of the RSA private key performing the encryption.
