Of course it is possible and not hard to implement. I am bit dissapointed it is absent option in cliget yet, addon is like mushroom without hat. Still using it though ;> Wget and aria2 exist as small executables, which could be directly fired-up from cliget with additional buttons (download with wget/aria2) next to standard copy url. The simplest scenario: place exe in dl-directory, set up in menu its location, add button in dl window - would be enough in most cases. That's how cliget could get real power.
But at some point authors aren't interested in development, everything in life passes away.
I find myself copying the URL and then opening a terminal and pasting the URL for every download. It gets a bit tedious if you have a lot of downloads. Is it possible to have Firefox actually launch the command in a terminal with a button directly from the save dialog box? It would save some time and you could always display the actual command next to the button for copy/pasting, anyway.
