Update LICENSE to current MIT License? #6

Closed nodiscc closed 10 years ago

nodiscc commented 10 years ago

Hello, is it ok to use the latest MIT License text for this tool? (http://opensource.org/licenses/MIT) It's basically the same license as the current one, with a few precisions.

Asking this because I've been working on https://github.com/nodiscc/plugin-playvideos, based on your work, and I'd like to license it as MIT, if that's ok.

Thanks!

Hi! The code is currently licensed under the ISC license, which is functionally identical to the MIT license.

If it makes things easier for you, you can take this comment as declaration that the code is dual licensed both under ISC and the MIT license you have proposed.

Glad that you have found the code useful!

@zaius oh I didn't know about the ISC License. I thought it was a custom license text, that's why I suggested using a common one. But no problem, my repo is now licensed under ISC too.
