Consider not installing / updating NPM version #45

I have the feeling updating the NPM version during the install process of node itself does not add much value. At least for me it is not clear which NPM version should be used. This raises the question of is it even necessary? Are we able to pick the right NPM version?

Agree on not manually installing or updating npm and just leave the default one.
