This question seems valid to any Postgres to Postgres migration, the Patroni and K8s part does not matter so much imho.
Mostly it depends on how big is big, this is very different for different users.
For some use cases it may also depend on how much time you want to spend on the process.

Patroni does have a slack channel. Probably reading the docs is a good start.
Hello,
This is more a question than an issue per se, so I apologize in advance if that's not the right place for asking.
I'm researching live (no downtime) migrating from a standalone PostgreSQL server (with a big existing data set) to Patroni / postgres-operator, and I'm interested if this is possible, and if there's anyone here who attempted something like this and could give me some pointers. I already read the docs and searched the web, but couldn't find anything related to my use-case.
Related, is there a community (chat, forum) where people using Patroni / postgres-operator hang out?
