because of an hard coded value in the geoserver docker image https://github.com/GeoNode/geonode/issues/11318 geonode-k8s required an hotfix. As the original geoserver dockerimage is fixed now the hotfix can be reverted, so that the Geoserver conainer does not need to specify and command anymore
