EPIC: Integrate data from ORD and provide them in the new GeoNode system

Feature Description

We need to integrate data and metadata of the ORD into the GeoNode system.

Proposed Solution

A description of how you propose implementing the feature.

Additional Information

• BonaRes metadata schema needs to be implemented in the GeoNode
• GeoNode API must be extended to new metadata elements
• Data ingest should be automated, so data upload and metadata creation would be as automatic as possible
• as the ORD data do not have all provided BonaRes metadata elements, the Data Stewards have to manually curate the metadata using the GeoNode system (extended metadata editor, admin interface?) for adding the missing information manually
• Different metadata contents need to be harmonized
  • Organizations
  • Rights management
• in the last step, the DOI in DataCite must be changed to the GeoNode landing page; could be automated, too?
