Phones that continue to report cells in the middle of the Pacific Ocean

I'm not sure what can be done about phones like the Samsung A13 5G, on Android 13.

Here, I really had just crossed the Antimeridian, and the thing was still reporting a cell from long ago, earlier during the flight.

Apparently it doesn't matter if you're a thousand kilometers away from the last cell. It's just going to keep reporting it as current or whatever, polluting what will be uploaded.

Checking with some other (netmonitor) app shows some kind of on and off response from the phone.

And then, also, extremely high decibels,

Oh, I get it. The signal really is coming from the plane itself.
