Orchard 1.8 #3

Have you had any luck getting this to run using orchard 1.8?

Have not tried, but if orchard devs didn't use workflow foundation (i think they talked about it but that is 2.0), my "tricks" should also get it to work for 1.8.(*) or perhaps nothing is needed. Have you tried for 1.7 or 1.8 , if so is there a particular issue/error you get. -tl

I have tried using your patches and http://docs.orchardproject.net/Documentation/Running-Orchard-on-Mono as a guide. Since I can find limited docs on http://orchard-linux.cloudapp.net/. I will proceed by trying 1.7. Thanks for your patches :)

It probably will work, if not i can diff the 1.7.1 vs 1.8.1 change sets accumulation, and probably see very quickly if there was stuff done in the linux/mono sensitive areas. Reminder: aside from the fact i run my site (which is used little but appears stable), this mono fork could be pretty stable in the general use areas, but there may be issue still in rarely used orchard feature and admin areas, and modules have to be unpacked on a windows orchard installation, then you just move the dir. (created by the nuget unpack) over and place it in same area (path) as on linux/mono env).
