Pausing/stopping while incremental update causes flashing updates #29

When using the incremental rendering on a slow format (IT), there is enough time to mess about with playback state while it analyses incrementally.

Repro instructions: Pause playback before it was finished, then hit Stop and finally restart playback.

Now it flashes the new sections every second or so, at least in any frontend.
